Set the second argument to 2 and days of the week will be numbered starting with Monday. For instance, both the functions DATEVALUE('Jan 1') and DATEVALUE('0') return the same number (44197) though the inputs have vastly different formats. You can use the DATEVALUE function to convert any date input to a number that represents the date.
